Booking Refund Policy

1. Pricing and Payment

  • The total price displayed on the Site includes all applicable government taxes.
  • You are required to pay the entire amount prior to the confirmation of your booking.

2. Refund Policy

  • Refund for No Show or Partially Utilized Flights must be claimed within 30 days of the travel date.
  • Refunds for No Show or partially utilized tickets are processed as per the airline's terms and conditions and may take up to 90 days.
  • Refund requests must be submitted to Oxigo, as the airline will not process refunds for bookings made via Oxigo.
  • The convenience fee paid at the time of booking is non-refundable, even if the ticket is cancelled, including partial cancellations.
  • Refunds will be credited to the same account from which the payment was made.
  • If an upfront discount or promo code was applied at the time of booking, the corresponding discount amount will be deducted from the refund for partially utilized tickets.
  • Meal, seat selection, or extra baggage fees are non-refundable, unless the flight is canceled by the airline.

3. Infant and Minor Travel

  • To avail of infant fares, the infant must be under 24 months throughout the entire itinerary (both onward and return journeys).
  • If the infant is 24 months or older on the return journey, a separate booking with a child fare must be made.
  • Infants must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 18 years of age.
  • Infants must provide valid proof-of-age documents to confirm eligibility for infant fares.

4. Check-in Policy

  • The standard check-in time is 3 hours before departure for domestic flights and 4 hours before departure for international flights.
  • Passengers must check in at least 60 minutes before departure; otherwise, they will be considered as a No Show.
  • For international travel, a valid passport and any related visa documents are mandatory.
  • A valid government-issued photo identification is required for check-in.
  • Infants must have a valid proof-of-age document showing they are under two years old.

5. Reschedule Policy

  • Every booking made through Oxigo is subject to reissue charges levied by the airline, which may vary depending on the flight and booking class.
  • If you choose to reissue your booking, you will be charged the difference in fare (if any) and any applicable reissue penalties. If the new fare is lower than the original fare, the difference will not be refunded, but applicable rebooking charges will be collected.
  • In addition to the airline's reissue charges, Oxigo will charge a reschedule handling fee per passenger, per sector, as mentioned on your ticket.
  • Depending on the airline's policy, certain fares may not be eligible for rescheduling.
  • For multi-itinerary reservations, you can contact Oxigo via email at wecare@oxigo.in for reschedule requests.

6. Cancellation Policy

  • Every booking made through Oxigo is subject to cancellation charges levied by the airline, which may vary depending on the flight and booking class.
  • Some booked fares may be non-refundable as per the specific airline’s policy.
  • Online cancellations: Can be made through the My Trip section on the website.
  • Offline cancellations: Can be made by emailing wecare@oxigo.in.
  • Cancellation requests made online or via email (for emails, travel date must be more than 6 hours away) will be entertained. Requests made through other mediums will not be processed.
  • If you have done a web check-in with the airline, please ensure you web check-out before placing the cancellation request, as Oxigo will not be able to process a refund if the web check-in was not canceled.
  • In addition to the airline’s cancellation charges, Oxigo will charge a cancellation handling fee per passenger, per sector, as mentioned on your ticket.

7. Refund Process

  • Refund requests must be initiated with Oxigo; the airline will not be able to process refunds for tickets booked through Oxigo.
  • All cancellations made directly with the airline must be notified to Oxigo via email or phone to initiate the refund process.
  • The refund will be processed only after the airline has completed their refund process.
  • Processing times for cancellation and refund requests may vary.
  • Refunds will be credited back to the same payment method used for the booking.
  • In the event of a flight cancellation or ticket refund for partially utilized tickets, the airline’s policy will be followed, and any applicable deductions (e.g., discounts, promotional codes) will be applied to the refund amount.

8. Miscellaneous

  • All statutory taxes, surcharges, and fees are to be paid by the passenger, as applicable on the date of travel.
  • Flight schedules and timings are subject to regulatory approvals and may be changed by the airline at any time.
  • Most airlines do not permit infants younger than 7 days to travel. Please consult the airline directly for more information.
